We’re All Here Together: Black, White, Red, Yellow & Brown
When the American people reelected Donald Trump to the White House in November 2024, for reasons known only to GOD and the Universe, no ordinary human being could have ever imagined the disastrous presidential reign that would follow. Only sixteen months into his second term, Trump has zealously taken to wrecking the very country, he swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend.
Everything the big oaf touches turns to dust, or at the very least, becomes a problem and a headache. The addition of Trump’s unctuous name to the Kennedy Center is his latest travesty.
The Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts just doesn’t have a nice ring to it. In fact, that new moniker is an abomination. Not only is Trump’s action a gross and repugnant insult to the Kennedy family, but it’s also an egregious affront to the entire nation.
Except maybe those Americans with MAGA-infested brains.
Those guys are beyond help.
On or about December 18th, 2025, the corrupted by Trump, Kennedy Center Board of Trustees voted to change the name from the one that had been selected by Congress [Public Law 88-260] on January 23rd, 1964.
That was sixty-one years ago, at that moment.
Of course, all the actions by the Board of Trustees are blatantly illegal and beyond the scope of what they are permitted to do. The only dissenting voice, an ex-officio member, Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio) quickly sued the board in federal court, that very same month.
It took many weeks, but U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper ruled in May 2026 that Trump’s name must be removed from the memorial to the assassinated 35th President of the United States of America. This was a big win for all decent Americans who never wanted to see the current president’s unappealing and scandalized moniker anywhere near the Kennedy Center, or on any other government buildings in the Nation’s Capital.
Of course, Donald Trump has already slapped his name on other institutions, in and out of Washington, DC, but that’s a discussion for another date.
The man with the orange face, who is a wannabe authoritarian and a tyrant, was ordered by the court to remove his name from the Kennedy Center by midnight on Friday, June 12th, 2026. Donald Trump, being the contrarian ass that he is, eventually conceded to the wishes of the court, and in a protracted manner, men on scaffolding slowwwwwly began the not-so-difficult task of changing the Center’s name back to what it had been before this whole tiresome affair erupted, due to nothing more significant than the man-child’s fragile ego.
